Anemone ID

Pick this up for free from a friend. Any idea what type of anemone this is?

It is a pest anemone, for sure. Which type, I think is a little more tricky to determine.

I can't really tell what it is, the picture isn't clear enough to ID it but its not a majano that is for sure.

That doesn't look like a pest anemone to me. People thought my golf warty anemone was a pest when I started posting pictures of it. Its not, I have had it for almost a year, I feed it three times a week and it haven't split or made clones of it self yet. It has been a great pet.

I wouldn't assume it to be a pest either. It doesn't look like majano or aiptasia, those are the two common pest species. I would leave it and if it starts causing you problems, then remove it. You might also offer it small pieces of food to see if it will eat.
