Anemone in broodstock tank? Bad idea?

I don't see anything wrong with it. Most large breeders stay away from anemones because anemones need more light and higher water quality than they care to give. Strong lights run up the energy bill and most like to overfeed their broodstock a bit to induce spawning.

I would be careful with haddoni carpets and expensive designer clowns. Haddoni are not the natural hosts of percs or ocellaris and in rare instances, have been known to eat those types of clowns before they get fully acclimated to the anemone.

There is also a chance that those types of clown will completely ignore that anemone. You run the risk of percs and ocellaris ignoring a BTA as well, but at least they won't get eaten.

Thanks Phender! That is exactly why i asked this question. A friend told me that a haddoni can possibly eat the broodstock, and i wanted to see what everyone here thinks about it.
