Steve, I know you are good with this stuff. Chime in.
I'm pretty sure I got a green bulbed anemone and when I got it in the tank it went to the bottom in a cave in a corner. I fed it regular shrimp for the first month or two but now I have switched to silversides.
Anyways, it's tentacles were a little stringy and when it wanted light it would just stretch his body. I was told to just leave him alone because he'd move if needed. Well he moved the other day. Tentacles look a little better but they are still very short. He would not eat today. It doesn't look like it's sick, just not up to where it should be. I however, just today started adding Phytoplankton to my tank which I was told would help everything but my real question is that it is more of a brown/tan color, not green at all??? Do green ones turn brown/tan??? Am I crazy that I bought a green one? If not, will it turn back to green???
Hey trottie, let me know if you can find a 3rd board to post this on!
