First, what is your lighting looking like, and how many bulbs and the wattage and age of each bulb? Also list your aquarium parameters? What type of anemone do you have? Fading of color is generally an indication of bleaching which is the loss of zooanthallae. If this happens your anemone will turn stark white, and it does not mean the anemone is going to die, but it does mean your anemone is unhealthy. If you can get a picture up it would help.

Anemones can lose zooanthallae for numerous reasons, lighting, drastic change in tank parameters, temperature, etc. H. crispa is usually a slight tanish color with purple tips when healthy. I cant really pinpoint and say it is your lighting as it could be numerous reasons why it is bleaching. Again a picture would help determine what is wrong with the anemone and the condition it is in. Best of luck, keep the parameters stable and if its been more than a year I would change out the bulbs, but be sure to acclimate your critters to the new bulbs.
