Anemonefish in Plate Coral???

Am I to understand that anemonefish will dwell in anything that resembles an anemone? It appears that way, since I've seen a maroon do this in xenia, and now my new one has chosen this LT plate coral over the green carpet that I intended to host him. Is this unusual? Is my fish retarded? Does it matter? Will the plate care?

please think about when you use the word retarded.. but as to your question this ill obviously stress the coral badly.. the LT plate coral doesnt have the best survival rate, and a clown hosting in it particularly a maroon clown will not be good for it..

Um...sorry about that. A childish choice of words on my part. Thank you for your reply, I will take the neccessary steps to end the anemonefish/plate coral conflict.
