Anemones and Pumps

Has anybody had their anemone move into a pump and well you know what would happen.I trying to figure out what happened to my RBTA he was moving om the glass and was near the pump but I am just not sure what happened.I do know I lost him as I found a decaying pieces with red .Have vortech pumps.

mine only lost a couple of tentacles to a hydor k1. I'm guessing yours went all the way in the pump?

How big was it? Do you think you only found some tentacles or were there enough pieces that would equal the size of it overall? It could be hiding in a spot that you can't see trying to recover. I have 2 BTAs and even though they are not moving any I keep my powerheads covered, I use the plastic mesh for needle point and rinse it off every week. Can be pain to do but its worth more than a chopped anemone.

It was the size of a baseball I am not sure if I found the hole thing do they shrink up alot?

A baseball is not that big, is it that size when open? And if so he may be in crevice or hole that you can't see. Do you see smell anything really bad? If it was rotting you would smell it.

The piece i took out was rotting maybe it was a softball size it was much bigger then what i took out.
