D David Grigor Registered Member Premium Member Jun 19, 2006 #5 Not entirely sure why it would matter barebottom or not.....even for those who burry in the sand. I knowing peeking up from under the tank, my LTA's foot is attached to the bottom of the aquarium even with a sandbed.
