Anemones with Peppermint shrimp?

Just got RBTA few days ago and I see my shrimps are keep picking on him. Are these compatible? I read on other forums, it really depends on the shrimp. Since the RBTA still adjusting to my tank, should I remove the shrimps to ease the stress on the anemone?

My cleaner shrimp always sits on my GBTA . Taking the shrimps out are your choice but the anemone is going to have to get used to the shrimps one way or another anyways.

I had a peppermint shrimp that used to try and ram sand down my one rock flower anemone's mouth. See how I said had and used to.

haha I get what you mean. Maybe my shrimps are just hungry. They would be all over new frags I placed in the tank.

I fed some food for the shrimps and they seems to leaving the anemone along for now. I am keeping an eye on it. Thanks for all your inputs.

I have both cleaner and peppermint shrimp in both my systems, 210 and 75. Each has 4 cleaners and a dozen peppermint. Cleaner shrimp try to steal food from the anemones if I feed them. I have caught the peppermint shrimp making a meal out of my gigs at night, they only make an appearance at night. They will sit and pick chunks off of a normally healthy anemone and enjoy. Doesn't seem to affect the anemones, but they are established and healthy anemones. Cleaner shrimp seem to only go after food, peppermints go after food and anemone. Cleaner shrimp can go digging inside the anemone, potentially internally injuring it. Otherwise cleaners seem harmless.

I have had bad experiences with peppermint eating my rock flower nems and even had a few devour an entire RBTA.

Albeit the RBTA was a baby, and it was 7 shrimp that ate him overnight. I don't like peppermint they get hungry and blam they eat corals. Had them go after torch and frogspawn as well.
