I Bought a nice RBTA last week. Placed it in the middle of my tank and it looked awsome.
The first day it moved to the top of the tank. Huh must have wanted more light.
The second day it moved near the heater. Huh must have wanted to be warmer.
The third day it moved to my seio M1500 pump. I hope he wasn't looking for more flow becuase he's in a million pieces.

My first one did that...

And then my second attempted to escape to the sump...

This caused 20 gallons of salt water to spill onto the floor and soak the carpet....

Dang, that stinks , sorry for that loss. Ive heard alot of that same exct thing happening, he was walking around looking for a place where he would be happy is what it sounds like to me...

make sure he's def. dead because my RBTA liked the heater as welland ended up almost killing itself, no tenticles were left and it took 6 months but he's back with a revengence. Sorry for the loss and good luck
