Anenome problem

I have an anenome that seems healthy but last week sometime he moved into a area of the tank that is kind of in front of my power head, he still eats at feeding time but he doesn't expand as much as he use to before he moved and most of the time he is shriveled up. My question is should I leave him and let him move when he is ready or should I reach in there and move him

Also is he attached or unattached to any rock work?

it's the smaller of the 2 (the one on the right) he is now on top of the middle rock right by the end of the 2nd rock bridge. Not 100 percent on the type tho. And sorry about the picture but that is the only picture I have of it

And yes he is suctioned onto the rock I can see its foot through a hole in the rock

That's fine, picture looks good. IMO I would leave him be, it's normal behavior for anemones to move about in the tank until they find a spot they like. What's important is that you obviously check your water parameters and make sure all is well. Now the big issue if it starts dying and decaying in your tank, you would be stuck with a big clean up and large water changes. If it is eating, then more then likely it's still exploring for a more comfortable location to set up. When you get a chance post a picture of it's current state, as I'm sure most will be able to identify it's health via pictures and provide a little more insight.

Also do not attempt to move him. If a foot is torn, it would mean certain death to the anemone.

And I check the water every 3 to 4 days and as of right now everything is where it should be ph 8.2, ammonia 0, nitrates 0 nitrites 0

To be honest looks like a condylactis anemone. Usually we call em condy for short. That's the best I can come up with based on the picture.

I think that you are going to find you have a bubble tip anemone. DO NOT move it. Let it be and feed it a small piece of meaty raw seafood every other day for awhile. If it doesn't want to eat, skip a day and try again. Use things like a tiny piece of raw shrimp, clam, fish, scallop, oyster, or squid. Even mysis shrimp is fine.

Tip: and don't feed silversides to your anemones, it can kill them.
