anenome shrimp

this little guy lives in my anenome, but i can't tell what kind of shrimp he is?
it looks like a mix between a sexy anenome shrimp and a pistol?
anyone have an idea?

Does he keep his little butt up in the air most of the time? If so its a sexy. They will host in an anemone sometimes.

that is not a sexy shrimp that is a white-patched anemone shrimp. Periclimenes brevicarpalis

i have the exact same one. they are easy and fun creatures to watch. very easy to care for. i make sure atleast once a week i get a pellet float into the anemone so the shrimp has a chance to get it.

i used to have one until i got my female clarkii. Luckily, my sexy shrimps like my kenya tree more

Did your clarkii eat the shrimp? My gsm female ate an unidentified pistol shrimp once, too. I only knew it was in the tank for about 30 seconds--just long enough for it to come out of the LR I was rinsing and then get tossed to the lions, err, I mean clowns. I had no idea she'd EAT the thing!
