angel Question

I just had a quick question, My sister has a 120G With a Yellow Tang and an Flame angelfish... My question is, they want to add a Queen angelfish. Are they capable of doing this without fighting? Thanks Ahead of time.

my opinion...and only an opinion

the queen will out grow tat tank, i have a 7ft x 2 ft tank and dont think its big enough for a queen and i want a brazilian queen badly

I have to agree, a Queen angel will get way too big for that tank, plus they are fairly aggressive, more so when cramped.

If you get a small queen you could probably get a few years w/o issues but like others stated they get big. 10-12in in captivity isn't to difficult to do & even when 1/2 that size they can have quite the attitude, especially in a smaller tank.

I would get a smaller angel & one that doesn't have the attitude

Thats what I expected. I told them that much. My curiosity is would a Dwarf angel and a Queen angel fight? I already told them not to do it. They are still "Thinkin'" about it. Its their Funeral. Im not too Worried about it. I personally just wondered if the 2 would fight?

In the correct tank they would be fine actually. I plan on adding a flame, Queen, Emperor & a few others in my tank

i real wish that when people make tank size recordmendations they use demensions along with gallons because gallons only can be misleading. case in point my 210g is 6 x 2 where my 200g is 7 x 2(neither is big enough for a queen in my opinion thats why i dont have a queen darn it)

I agree With you agreeive?fish... I would say a Comfortable size tank would be 220-250G or more... I just wanted to get your guys opinion so now I can show the Sister And her boyfriend some opinions in writing. lol

yea, many angels, tangs & triggers I wouldn't put in anything shorter then 6ft.... which is why I went with a 10ft tank :)
