I been reading up on keeping angelfish in my tank. 1/2 the sites say no more then 1, the other 1/2 dont say anything at all. My tank currently has some soft corals (star polp, kenya trees, and xenia), chalice, acro, macro algea plants, and anemones.

I know they are 'with caution' about reef safe. I want to get 2 - 3 angel fish (couple of dwarfs), good bad??

thanks

hard to find but look for a pair or harem (dwarf angels), I have seen Flame and Coral Beauty offered for sale before.

What kind of SW angelfish? There are many, and vary by Genus, Species, & of course, individual.

Cherub (Pygmy) Angels are very aggressive. Whatever you do, in that combo, add the Potter's Angel first. It will need time to settle in & start eating.
Is your tank fairly mature? I get that impression anyway. Which is good, Centropyge angels like/need mature tanks to thrive.

My 65 currently has a multicolored, coral beauty and a flame, been that way since June. The flame is the leader but there isn't any issues. Prior to that the multicolored and coral beauty were in a 58 along with a venustus dwarf (( changed things up when I moved )).

The flame used to be a pair in a 75 (( lost the male during the move )) along with a solid blue dwarf (( not officially named yet, think a blue C. nox )).

For a 120g and if you have a good amount of LRs (say about 100-150lbs) I don't think you will have much problem adding 3-4 dwarf angels. It comes down to color / price / single/pair/trio. Inexpensive and colorful you can go with a flame/lemonpeel/coral beauty combo. If it was me I would go with either a flame trio or a pair of flame and a pair of lemonpeel. Key is getting small ones, have plenty of caves for them to dot in and out and graze and socially acclimate if not adding at the same time. With dwarf I only social acclimate if there's a established coral beauty otherwise I don't worry too much.

I know I'm off topic here but I don't see that many people talk about multi color angels. I really want one, why aren't thy popular and is hard to find a small healthy one ? Also would one be ok for a tank which is around 8-9 month I'm at 4 month now but I'm talking about later. 40g breeder.
