Angle suggestion needed

I am looking for an Angel or other fish for my 300 display. I would prefer it to eat zoa's, paly's, and anthelia as I have some unwanted hitchhikers and out of control anthelia. The tank mainly house SPS, Clams, and a few LPS. I know most fish are hit or miss so I would like to know if their is any fish that would likely fit into my tank.

Thanks
Will

PS I have a trap so I am willing to try risky fish

Most medium/large angels would probably go for some of the "zoas/palys", although IME they'll be more tempted to go after "LPS" as well.

I prefer 90° myself ;)

What else (( fish wise )) do you have in the tank?

Back when I had my Blueface angel, it would mow though any zoas that I had in the tank, but left my SPS and clams alone.

1 Kole Tang sm
1 Foxface med
1 Naso Tang sm
1 Desjardini Sailfin Tang med
1 Blackcap Basslet
2 False Percs
2 Yellow Wrasses

I'm a fan of the 45 and 90 degree angles, and as far as Angels just pick one that you really like, but the Holocanthus angels are generally the most risky.

reluctant as I am to recommend a emporer for a reef tank, there is a spread sheet knocking around one of the forums that claims nearly 90% sucess rate for emporer angel in sps tanks.....

If you are looking for an angel that will eat softies, but not sps, then I reckon an emporer would fit the bill nicely!

Ya the Emperor is fantastic. One of the few fish that I would consider building a 300g+ tank around.

I had a blueface with a clam for a bit..one thing i did notice was when i added a new clam that was stressed he attacked it.I then covered it up for about a week with an egg crate cube and after i removed the crate it he left it alone. My thoughts on this is that the fish would attack a new add but seemed to leave the new one alone after it was no longer stressed. How long this would have continued i am not sure as i rehomed the angel.
