another bad day

Tonight I was cleaning up and moved my ballast a bit and a spark flew and the cord caught on fire and flames shot out about 6 inches high. Wow was that scary. I'm glad I was home. We got it out and I think we can order parts to replace the plug and connection to the box. That was all that was hurt.
I hope the bad luck streak is over. :mad2:

All that from just moving it? No water got in it? Sounds like there was faulty wiring happening there.

That sounds a little scary. The ballast is a PFO. You might want to contact them and see if you can order a new plug and quick disconnects.
