Another FlameAngel Question

So... I just got a flame angel. After a day I saw that it was nipping at my pineapple brain and immediately put one of those strawberry containers over it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do next? I know the best solution would be to get rid of one of them, but i love both. Any ideas?

See if he keeps picking on it and itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s not just because he was hungry or maybe going for some algae on the side of it not actually picking on the coral. I have a coral beauty that occasionally nips at my open brains, he has been in the tank over five years with them and they are fine. I have to worry more about the tangs damaging the brains, especially my hippo tang.
If he is bent on killing your coral I would remove the fish. It's a reef tank not a fish tank thats how I look at it.

I have open brain, torch, and blastomussa along with my flame angel. Have been together several years with no problems, but have read the angel can destroy lps. You might have to make a choice.

Flames are hit and miss. I just acquired mine last week from a friend who swore it never bothered lps in his tank. He sold it to me because he have two of them and they do not get along. After I put in my tank, ie killed my green met. brain, killed a head of drogspawn and started to pic on my red brain. It literally took me my whole weekend just to catch it. not to mention I have a 300 gal tank full of liverocks so it was not easy to catch a very fast fish. I finally caught it and give it away at my LFS. Nice fish but I love my corals as well. HTH.
