Another ID question

Hi could anyone ID these please? They look like egg cases to me but I am hesitant to keep them in the tank if they are harmful. Thank you for any help. Rick

it's a spiny ball sponge (even though it 'walks' around), possibly Leucetta barbata.

Thanks Rick! I am very grateful. Is it anything I should be worried about? Do they become a nuisance? What would eat them?

the ones I've had cruised around for a few months then were gone. they never bothered anything that I noticed, never attached to any coral, etc.
