Another Interceptor Spectrum dosing question

I'm about to do my first dose of spectrum. I have a 90g tank and 30g sump so I was planning on just using half a large dog pill.

1) With 1/2 a large dog tablet on a ~110g system, is that overdosing?

2) I'm guessing I should dissolve the pill in some tank water before entering the system.

3) I've read pull the skimmer offline for the first day then fire it up but it will overflow for a little while afterwards. Could I just pull the cup and let it run to keep the water more oxygenated or does it matter?

4) What do you guys recommend for a waterchange time frame? 12hrs? 24hrs?

5) I don't run any carbon or GFO, I do have some of each that I could toss in a mesh bag in my sump. Should I run carbon afterwards?

I used 1 small dog tablet for a 40 breeder, worked great with only losses being some pods(removed shrimp first). Yes run carbon afterward, I did water change after 48 hrs., Like to leave it work as long as possible. Yes, dissolve first. Also repeat treatment even if you don't see any more pests.

That tablet is good for 3 treatment. You will do all three. Dissolve pill in tank water or rodi. Heating the water makes this easier. Then dump it in. Do not take skimmer offline. All equipment must be treated. Just let it overflow back to to the sump. Pull carbon and GFO but let the water flow through the reactors. 12hrs after treating the tank do a 25% water change and add carbon. 1 week later repeat the treatment. Even if you don't see anymore redbugs. Then treat again after another week. Again treat even if you don't see red bugs.

Also pull all crabs, shrimp, and hermits. Then can and will die after the treatment. Some may pull through but it is unlikely.

For what it is worth. I dosed three times and was a total success. I didn't lose any inverts in the process. Good luck.

Dosed almost twice recommended with no ill effects aside from what was expected. Dead pods and red bugs.

So I dosed last night, 1/3 a large pill. After about 2hrs I blasted one of the infested corals and almost all the RB came off. They were non-existent on 2 other corals that had them. I noticed larger dead pods floating around the tank and in the sump but did still see some smaller ones scurrying around. I also noticed a few large bristleworms. I know some people are concerned since it has the prazipro like agent about a worm die off. I also saw a hermit I missed climbing one of my rock pillars. I plan on doing a waterchange when I get home from work this afternoon. I purchased the 6-pack plus I have 2/3 of this pill left if I need to redose, which I will in a week or two.
