Another mantis!!!

I was looking at my tank and I see these two little eyes peaking out of a hole in a piece of rock. So I immediately take the piece of rock out and it sitting in a bucket of fresh water. Mantis shrimp are tough as hell. I saw a small gorrila crab jump right off the rock when it hit the fresh water. The mantis is still in there. I am going to leave it in there until it gives up and comes out. I want to put him in my sump with the other mantis. Someone please come and get these mantis shrimp!!!

Ahhh...Florida rock...it's the nature of the beast.

Well I forgot about the two rocks in the bucket of fresh water. I think they were in there for about 2 hours. I took the rocks out and investigated all the holes. I spotted both mantis shrimp. They were dead. If they werent so stubborn and would have come out when I ran fresh water on them in the sink they would be alive in my sump. But they stayed in the rock and are dead. I took them out of the rock holes and threw them in the yard. I put the rocks back in the tank. Well now I think I am mantis free. Well atleast I hope.
