i think you will find that is not a haddoni. i would be willing to bet that is actually s.
helianthus.

I meant gigantea with the pattern always get mixed up but I'm no expert

That is S. Helianthus. The Atlantic Carpet Anemone. They are a non hosting species and will eat most if not all of your fish. You can tell it's Helianthus by the brown spots on the column

The way Petco works is.. The head aquatic person places an order for "assorted carpet anemone".. They might come in as a red haddoni, green haddoni, blue haddoni, or a totally different type of carpet all together.

Same thing with bubble tips.. They only come in as "assorted" so they might be green, white, red or anything in-between. I've seen Rose bubble tips come into the store I work at priced the same as a normal green bubble tip but it's pretty rare and usually the aquatic people grab those before they hit the bank.
