Another plumbing question

Ok so I am setting up my tank and need help and ideas with plumbing! I have a standard 120 AGA rr tank with dual overflows. So as I have read so far I need 3/4 inch bulkheads and 1 inch bulkheads. I am going to go the durso stand pipe direction but that is about as far as I have gotten.
So I am wondering how to run my plumbing to and from my tank. I am putting my tank against a wall and behind that wall I have a small walk in closet that I converted to my fish room. So I am running the plumbing through the wall into the fish room which is where my sump will be which will also be sitting against that same wall, just on the other side of it.
I don't know if there is an easier way to have you guys help me but I figured I would start from here. I don't care much about cost either as I want it done right and to look good. If there are any links you know of with a similar situation or anything that would help a ton. I am running an internal pump also. Probably an Eheim 1262 but don't know for sure. If you have any more questions or if you need a picture to help figure out what I'm saying I will do my best. Thankyou so much

I suggest you check out the big tank forum. A lot of pics of tanks with remote sumps in a fishroom.

Ok how about this! Since I have dual overflows could I run say 1" out from the bulkhead's then 90 degrees toward eachother where I connect them with a T to one line that is say 1 1/2" through the wall and then T off that again and have it go to my fuge and have the other continue along and then 90 tge end of my pipe down to my fuge? I would put a gate valve on the fuge section so I could control the flow into my fuge and all the rest would go to the skimmer section! So basically is it ok to go from two 1" lines to one 1 1/2 line? We can talk about the return later! Lol. I hope that made sense! The return line I would basically do the same thing back to the tank. One line from pump up through wall then T too two lines and go back to both returns!

I did the same thing. All plumbing went into the coat closet right behind the tank. I had a custom overflow built for my 120 though and used 1 1/2" for drains and 1" for returns. Take a look at my build thread to see how I plumbed. It was pretty easy. In addition, I put my return pump under the house in the crawl space and drilled through the floor. At first I had mounted it to a floor joist and you could feel it all over the house. I then built a small table and mounted the pump to that so it's on the gound under the house. My tank is super quiet now :)

Feel free to PM me with any specific questions you may have.

I think you have a great grasp on the plumbing aspects and have a good idea and plan to start with. How do you plan on getting the water out of the fuge once it is in there? I think since you are going with a remote fish room that an external pump may be easier to route all the lines to where you need them to go. Now that I think about it and you said fuge section I'm guessing that your fuge will be in sump and that it will overflow back into the return pump area.
