Either you have an octopus or some kind of algae growing there. Hard to tell with the pic. Reach in there and grab it, it might not bite :-)

Looks like algae, do you have any Xenia in your tank? Could be a rogue piece

lol yes I don't mean to tease, and I know everyone is proud of their blue LEDs and think white is yellow and yucky, but any time you ever have a "œwhat is this" or "œID please" it is best to remove any and all blue light as possible. Only shoot the picture with white light. If you only own blue lights, turn them off and use a flashlight instead.

Dang..tough crowd! LOL

OK, lights off but a blue background that I am not scraping off.

Here is the best shot I can get.

Much better picture, but I have no idea what it is.

But yeah. Blue lights wash out cameras. Best option for those hard to reach places in a tank is either all white light, or turn off the light and carefully illuminate it with a flashlight until you can get a decent shot.

Remember that you can see it and see depth. Your eyes know its shape so you'll get more out of a shoddy picture then we will. We can only see whats in the picture with no frame of reference for it.

Good luck!

Lol sorry don't mean to be rough. Just giving you a hard time. Picture is some better but that's a new one for me I've got no idea
