I'm considering a few anthias down the road in my 55. I know that a 55 is a bit small for most (maybe all?) anthias species if more than one is kept. What anthias would be suitable in a 55 in a group of 2 or 3?
Also, my quarantine is only 12 gallons. Would an anthias require a larger tank for quarantine? What if I wanted to quarantine two or three at a time? I'm thinking the QT is too cramped. However, I think that anthias will change sex to male in the absence of a male in the group. I'm a little worried that if I buy them singly, QT them, move to main tank, buy another and repeat, they'll all be male by the time I get them into the main tank.
