Any blue tank backgrounds out there?

from my experience - blue have to be very clean to look good - this means more regular maintanance then with black one.

I have both and also like the black back better. Not only do you need to keep blue cleaner, you also need to get the right shade of blue for it not to look fake.

You do have to keep it very clean..
i dont know about fake or realistic blues lol.

you can see clearly where my algae grows =/
but im usually good bout keeping it clean.
black backrounds drowned out the brightness that imo i like.

I have always had a black tank. I like the idea of a blue back to make the fish and rock brighter. If I could go with white I would.

Now that I am running 20,000K bulbs I prefer the black, since the bulbs are fairly blue. But, with anything other then 20,000K I prefer the blue background.

what does it matter when the back encrusts in coraline?

A few of us keep the back clean. ;)

I prefer the black myself and I find that that coraline algae prefers to grow better on items that are black. at least thats my experience.
