not sure what this one is exactly, it was kinda a freebie and it didnt come with a name as the person i traded with wasn't sure... the tips of the coralites are all blue/purple... and the base is a greenish color, with the growth tip also having a greenish tip... which is easier seen in person...

some may say cali tort? but i have one of those i believe and the tips are growth tips are not green... and this one jus looks different... any help is much appreciated... thank you guys

The polyps on ORA's Cali Tort are green and the coral can show some green florescence on the base. I have noticed on the primary axial corallites of my piece there is a strong green pigment.

Different tanks and lighting systems can yield very different looking corals- even with the same genetics. Perhaps it is a Cali Tort frag and because of the environment it matured in it looks different from your existing colony. Or maybe the coral you currently "believe" to be Cali tort is actually not the true coral.

Try to get a picture with something dark behind the coral seeing as that eggcrate is blowing things out for your camera.

It looks like Cali Tort to me!

Just my thoughts.
