Any critters eat corallimorpharians?

I was wondering if there are any fish, inverts or other critters that would eat mushroom corals.

Is there any way to "thin" the population?

My tank is getting overrun by mushrooms and when I try to remove them, they just grow back!

I hear that chocolate chip stars eat mushrooms, but they'll eat plenty else too.

Choc chips will eat everything they can get onto. Not sure on any other creature that will just thin out the shroom population and leave everything else alone.

Have you tried scrubbing them off making sure no foot material is left on the rock?

Sell them to local reefers, or if nice enough get into shipping them. The $$ will make the annoyance of having to keep trimming them less of a chore.

If they are the only softies there are some angelfish that would nom on em. Like Emperors.
