Any idea what the little things are that are putting out the strings / webs?

They were all over the weed in this tank and have entangled and killed baby seahorses previously.

No not vermetid snails, though it was the slight similarities except for scale that prompted me to make and post a separate video on vermetids.

Apart from the huge difference in scale the other noticeable difference is that the web from vermitid is just long and stringy and if pulled in slowly, these little guys put out a branched line with loads of off shoots from the main line and they whip it back like a lasso.

Yeah. Once you get used to it though it's VERY nice, there is a TON, I mean literally TONS of information there... the search feature does pretty good too.
