Any ideas on what this is?

I was told it's a hairy frilly mushroom, but I'm trying to get a more scientific name to determine their care requirements. They are 2.5" in diameter and I paid $7 per head. Did I get a good deal?

Any ideas what it is? Sorry for the bad lighting, they have some green around the centers. Thanks!

From the pale translucent color, I would say one of the Caribbean species..
