Any large DAS tank owneers?

i posted a thread in the new to the hobby, and the DIY section, havent had any luck in the DIY and just posted the new to the hobby one today. I'm just wondering if anyone on here owns a DAS tank with teh split bottom pane of glass.

I have a 115 but I got rid of all the internals. It's now plumbed into my 280g at the sump.

Bhammer, isnt DAS located just outside of ft worth? i have a leak in mine, and i need it repaired, im wondering if i should trailer the thing down there and get them to fix it for me

Yes, they are located in Waxahachie, TX, just about 30 to 45 minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth.

What do you need repaired? I would imagine that you could repair it ourself with the help of the DIY folks if you wanted to go that route.

that lovely bottom seam in the tank is leaking, its a 265 gallon tank so theres loads of pressure pushing down on that seam, i want to make sure it is done properly. I posted a thread in the DIY forum, but i didnt even get a reply lol

i honestly dont think the fix/reseal tanks. if so, you will want to talk to Kyle (the owner) or Richard (manages the service end of it)

i will have to call them when i get back into town, or just go up there, i want to get some zoas for the new tank anyway, ill just stick them in my 75 and let them frag themselves all over the place while i wait on the big tank to get fixed or whatever i end up doing. Mr. A. has some of the best show pieces ive seen in just about any store, i love going up there!

they have the best looking store i will admit to that.

you might check out the LRC board. there are a lot of people that frag Zoa's for cheap. and there are some nice colors too.

Kyle has been getting in some good stuff here lately too.

Contacted mr. A today and they said they dont do repairs, and everyone in the area has gotten out of it due to liability and its jsut not profitable

i guess you can call DAS monday....... just to see what they say.
