I have access to a spawning pair of ORA clarkiis. As much as I would LOVE to try and raise the young (Joyce Wilkersons CLOWNFISH is my bible...) I simply don't have to money to throw at a new project.
As soon as this pair formed, I have doted on them. Fed them a variety of foods (Brine, mysis, krill, spirulina, black worms) and they've been hosting an anemone for months. These fish are my babies.
I would really like to see them go to someone who would do something cool with them, and has the interest, knowhow and resources to raise the babies. (Instead of going into someones 14 biocube or something.)
They have spawned fours times already over the last couple of months. And are good parents...however aren't the overly aggressive, vicious biters that some clarkiis can be. Not yet at least. hehe
They WOULD be in my house if I could have them, but I can't. If someone wants to make a fair offer, and has the desire for a challenge let me know!
I have pics of them with freshly laid eggs on my cell phone I can text to you, if interested. I can't get them onto my computer, though.
