Any Micromussa fans?

I realize most now call them Acans as a general term, but years back Micromussas was a label. This one is always hungry...

Recent genetic testing has moved them out of the Acan genus and into Micromussa.

Thanks, I checked into it after reading your post, that's odd, they dropped the name then brought the Lorhowensis into a Micromussa category? This won't be like the Pluto is a planet and then not a planet-back and forth is it?

Ha. It seems like they do that sometimes. In this case, I think the classification will stay for a while. The lords didn't share near enough genetic material with other Acanthastrea to stay there. (Superficial) looks can be deceiving sometimes when it comes to nomenclature, sometimes the biology community is finding.
