i have a large yellow fiji that i have fragged recently. I must say tried three methods needle and thread, rubber band and bridal veil. of the three the bridal veil worked best. I did not have great success w/ about 60% survival rate. the frags are still being babied but they have attached themselves to the rubble. of ten frags i have 6 that survived.

I just made 6 more today and used veil on all of them, hoping that they will all pull through.

i got the veil from my wedding shower. bed bath and beyond uses wedding veil for it's bows when you get shower/wedding gifts. since we where registered there we got lots of bows. lol

but thats a different leather , i ubder stand the concept on the fragging but i am asking is where do i cut off?

You can cut it up any old way. I like to take a pie piece off the leather and let the rest heal. Its also good to cut the top like a doughnut leaving the top that is over the stalk still on top of the stalk. This giving u 2 pieces. One is the stalk with some top on it and the other is a round top with a hole cut out. Then just cut that top into pieces.

Look at the top of the toadstool. Take a knife and cut a circle so that you are cutting the top off the stem leaving part of the top still on the stem. This will give you a top that looks like a doughnut.
