any particular sand for hoeven wrasse in QT?

is it necessary to have sandbed for this wrasse in my QT? is so, what kind of sand can I use? can i just use playsand from homedepot just for my QT?

+1 Glass pyrex bowl works great for this purpose. I use sugar sand, but I'm sure any kind is fine so long as it's not too coarse for burrowing.

I agree. Just do not use coarse sand as it may damage the wrasses mouth. (I use tupperware containers and discard the sand)
