One of my Walmart cheap-o's crapped the bed. It is no longer automatic....

....I worked days now so I was able to catch the problem!

Is $35 inexpensive enough? The Coralvue timers are pretty good, I use three of them to control the light sequences on my tanks.
They would work perfectly with the lights you have on your tank.
You can find them on eBay or in PetsMart/Petco stores.

just cause yours didnt work nate doesnt mean there junk :P...lol...there are lots of people that have success with them.

X2 on what Nate said!! Mine works most of the time, but once or twice a week I have to manually turn if off. I've found that all the analog timers I've used don't work, or they don't work properly for very long. I'd go digital.

How is the one that I got you Vince?

perfect hasnt given me a problem...but that is what you are agreeing with nate on, that the one i have doesnt work well...lol...but it is the digital one...i've had it for bout 6 months now right?

Well I'm agreeing with Nate on the analog one, I've had 3 of them now. The digital one seems to keep time, and shut off when it's supposed to. 6 months sounds about right. I've had up around 20 of the cheaper ones (for reptiles) also analog, and all of them have either not shut off or the time seems to get funked up.

I'm going to get the one that you have for my nano.

hummmmmmmm

I said the Coralife Power Center was a piece of junk. Both mine and the one we bought for the zoo constantly lose their settings and don't turn on the lights. Personally both the analog and digital timers I linked to work great and I have been using them for years. I mostly use analog timers FWIW

Just call me lucky...

I have the Dual Coralife timer and they are terrible. My first one kept sticking. I got a replacement, it worked for 2 weeks and now its sticking too. Seems like its hit or miss with these things. Its ashame too because I dont think anyone makes something close to this in the price range.
