Any SWC Mini Cone S skimmer users still out there?

Wanting to see anyone is still using one of these and if you are, are you still using the stock sicce psk-2500 pump?

I hate it. Every time it stops, getting it started again is a nightmare and today I busted the tube for the airline on the volute while jacking with it.

Trying to figure out

1. a good "easy" replacement pump for it,
2. or switch to a venturi but what size??,
3. or maybe just time to chuck it and get a new skimmer.

I have been using there skimmer for years never had a problem with the pump. Hardly ever cleaned it either, maybe once a year. I did just replace it but the pump was still working as it was new.

Really? I have always had issues with the pump restarting.

But I love the skimmer itself.

I guess I was lucky, I have read a lot of people having problems with the pump
