I myself prefer the look and other qualities of light with the HM plus T5 option. However, I went to see that linked fixture in person (warehouse in Sacramento). It weighs at least 40 lbs. So beware. Also, the fans are loud. As someone on this forum told me when I was shopping for a fixture, you do get what you pay for when it comes to lights. I ended up biting the financial bullet and getting a Giesemann MH plus T5 fixture (Infiniti).

When buying off of Ebay- Usually it is Buyer Beware. Especially electronic items. No mention of warranty?? I'm sure you could find a 1/2 way decent light elsewhere. I too am looking to buy a light fixture for my 180g.
