Any TV repairmen out there?

I'm having problems with my Mitsubishi 55511 and of course the warranty just ran out in FEB. Colors are messed up and the sides of the screen has jagged edges. Never had any problems before now.
Was working fine last night but was doing this the first time it was turned on today

sounds like an ic convergence unit problem. Does the picture look like a 3d movie(without glasses)?

sounds like convergence to me also. My tv actually has a setting where you go in and it looks like a big + you can move it up and down and side to side and you just line up the + and the picture is back to normal, never had to do it to make the picture better but I had to see what it looked like when it was all messed up and like romydawg said it looked like a 3d movie.

I am sure it is the IC chip now after looking some things up.
