I have dove the USS Oriskany several times. It should be on your "Dive Bucket List". The depth of the Oriskany does require you to have AOW certification. It is an impressive sight to see an aircraft carrier under water like that.
It has a great deal of growth on it. We don't have a lot of corals here in the Northern Gulf of Mexico....at least not like people are used to seeing down in the Keys. It is always covered with fish....both schooling and game fish. It is a great dive.
