Anyone dived/snorkeled St Lucia?

Going there for my honeymoon in October, just wondering if anyone has been there and has any input/advice. Thanks!

I dove in the national marine reserve. It was one of those half day, we train you in the morning deals, so we went prtetty much right of the beach(which was actually a cliff). There was a nice selection of fish but the coral cover was disappointing. Maybe a dive to an offshore reef would be better if coral is what your after.

I just got back from my honeymoon there. Had a great time. Dove a couple of days at various reefs. Visibility was around 30'-40'. Lot's of brain corals and lots of fish. The reef's are in ok condition.

Didn't see any acro's (the carribean has 2 species) but saw lots of what I think where porites. Lot's of blasto's and very colorful tube sponges and sea fans. Didn't see anything "big" such as a turtle or large eel or anything.

All in all it was pretty good diving. It's fun swimming through the reef and being able to identify and name lot's of the animals we see in the aquarium trade. The dive master's where always playing with the arrow crabs.

You'll have a great time!

We honeymooned there. This was before we were in the hobby. We only snorkeled, but it was awesome! We saw a hugh morey eel, lots of fish and our guide caught a small box fish! Are you going to Sandals?
