Since bringing my fuge online, my phosphate has been steadily dropping (Hanna checker) and tonight, it bottomed out at absolute zero. The R. florida are not looking happy.
What are you using and how have your results been?
With that said, it seems the “make your own” is easy to overdose. However, on R2R @Dr. Reef posted this in 2018 -
adding 1.88g of the Trisodium Phosphate to 0.25 gal (1 liter) of water will get you stock solution. 1 ml per 26gal (100 l) of tank water will boost phosphate by 0.01 ppm.
I have used Neophos. As the fish got bigger, I fed enough this problem went away.
I have stopped the LaCl completely recently. Phos has dropped low enough to not need it.
