Anyone ever go shark diving?

My wife and i are planning to do some cage diving with some great whites and i would like to know if anyone on her has done this?, who you went with?, and what was your experience like?

Hey BigNick,
Check out Horizon Charters (it is a liveaboard trip). They do Great White Shark cage dives and the boat leaves out of San Diego. Destination: Guadalupe Island. When I used them, I was impressed by the level of professionalism, knowledge, and service of the crew.

agreed on Guadalupe Island. Its almost a guarantee you'll see them. Or you can go with the cheaper quicky one day trip in northern Cali...

I've dived with Nurse, Lemon, Bull, White-tip, Black-tip, and a beautiful 14ft Tiger in Fiji all on normal Open water dives in just 2 weeks.

Shark diving with great white's when you know their coming and your in a cage is one thing but being on a normal wall drift dive and seeing everything, including the 2 bull sharks, disappear in a matter of seconds and watching a giant Tiger pull in unexpectedly is one hell of a rush that no one should miss out on. Pretty sure I crappy a little though. And in Fiji I never had more then 5 other divers with me which is really nice if you have dived in some of the crowded hotspots.

Dive Fiji... highly recommended. And the shark dive at Aqua-Trek 3D is fantastic as well, never disappoints.

i just got back from Key Largo in December and i did a dive with a lot of nurse sharks. They aren't really the most fierce, but it was still really cool. I have pics and will post once i get the cd.

Lemon sharks are in here in south florida love diving with those guys. Nurse sharks are always a crowd pleaser, I have run into a few bulls before, great rush yes...do it again knowingly...no! But they show up anyway.
