Anyone have a 55g tank?

My uncle is looking for a cheap 55g tank for freshwater as his has started to leak.

My old one (purchased at Elmers) is for sale. It has a pair of 3/4 bulkheads in the side for the overflow. The frame was oak, but I painted it black with plastic paint which has held up nicely. Comes with stand which has been modified to fit a 10G or a 15 tall sump (not included)... not super pretty, but not bad either.

I'm asking $100.

but now for the bad. I noticed when taking down the tank that there was a split down the center of the center brace. I filled it with plastic epoxy filler which should hold fine, but it will need a shot of paint. It didn't leak before I took the tank down, but I don't know if moving it with the center brace craked could have hurt anything, but I'd be happy to fill it up where it sits and let you take a look.

ray im pretty sure the 75g has almost the same footprint, wet pets is selling brand new for 99 might want to check that out.

I saw there are selling them for that. It is actually 48x18, the 55 is 48x13 i think.
