I've been thinking about culturing my own Tiggerpods (http://reefnutrition.com/tigger_pods.php)
with their phytoplankton. From reading the instructions, it seems like a Biorb filtration system based on an airstone would be perfect and might make a nice display with some macro algae in there.

Modifying the LED for red would be pretty trivial.
