ANyone have a drill press?

I just recieved my diamond glass drilling bits but am scared to try it myself freestyle'n it with only a drill. Anyone with a drill press willing to help me drill a couple holes into a 20 gallon? I'd appreciate it.

Zach, go slow and keep it wet with a slight stream of water, you will be fine. I'd do it verticle vs horizontal so you don't accidently put too much pressure on it.

get some modeling clay and roll it out into a straigrt line. now make a circle 3 X's larger than your bit/hole about 3/8" in deep and fill with water. run speed at low and dont force it. have some faith,:) its not really that hard. make sure to keep the bit as straight as possible and be careful when you begin to break thru, ease off the pressure just a touch. good luck and REEF-ON!!
JDM...

Alrighty guys, I guess I'll try and tackle it. I've cut probably close to 10 holes in glass tanks with a dremel but this'll be my first attempt with the hole bits. No worries though... I'm sure it'll come out fine. I'll do it here in the next couple hours and let everyone know how it turns out.

Pre-drill. My son Evan doing the final inspectigation(i just invented that word) before drilling :)

Thanks for everyones help.

Thanks fellas.

Still kinda undecided on the livestock. Probably go with the typical combo of corals... zoos and rics. I would like to get a couple picasso clowns though.

The thing I'm most excited about though is the rock structure. I've been working with my friend for the last 7-8 months or so experimenting with different clay recipes and testing them in saltwater tanks, finally got it right, and made a structure specifically for this tank. It looks like nothing I've ever seen. Very cool.

I'm still in the collecting stages for the setup but hope to have it up and running by the end of the summer.

It'll be a bit before I'm able to post up some pics. Sorry everyone. :(

They're sitting in a big vat at a friends being seeded with some figi rock. I would be able to show you some pictures if my big brother ^^^^ would have been kind enough to help me out with his tank but NOOOO!!!. :) It'll probably be a couple weeks.

It's an awesome tank! I used to have a curved front corner frameless 4 gallon and when I saw this I was on a mission to get one. They are glass as well, your right and bowfront. It is sold as a 22 gallon. Very nice tank. I got it at cadlights dot com. They've got some other options as well.

Here's my old 4 gallon.
