Anyone have a wrasse recomendation for me??

In my 175 I have a Six line and a Melanarus wrasse. I would like to add at least one more wrasse...maybe a couple. I am not sure if the same rule applies here like Tangs (I have 4) where similar body shape and species can cause conflict.

Will some species fit the bill for me more than others?

Any recomendations appreciated.

Thanks!

He was my first wrasse. I added the melanarus a couple of months ago. He chased him around for a couple of days...but they get along fine now.

Hmm...

They can be very nasty, I'd definitely keep an eye on him.

The melanurus will most likely not have a problem with other wrasses at all. I have a melanurus and a leopard wrasse together without issue.

Using an acclimation container to allow the fish to see one another without being able to get at each other, is a good idea.

I have a melanrus and a six line

Also
have
blue sided fairy
leopard
pink margin
pyles
yellow coris
solar

pound for pound the six line is the most aggressive and smallest, but its a 300g so he can't do much damage.

I would add a large fairy wrasse to your tank as the are the least related and my fairy's are left alone by the others.

So...it can be done!

I was starting to think I needed to try and catch my 6line
