Anyone have experience with aquarium depot?

I go to aquarium depot maybe 2 or 3 times a month, 1 hour drive from where I'm at. they also sell reptile stuff, family own business. Always talked with Jeff, good selections of vibrant corals & fish for good price. Also they having 30% off next month for there 4 year anniversary, I think.

My recent experience (late Jan & Feb 2017). I looked up reviews, they were mixed with probably more poor than good. I first sent an email asking a question about shipping to see how timely the response was. Figured if they didn't respond or took days to respond I'd just go elsewhere. They responded same day, I sent another email again and they responded within a few hours. I decided to give them a try. Ordered a few clean-up critters, just snails and peppermint shrimp. They shipped the next day. I didn't choose anything with free shipping, I used the 1-2 day standard at 14.99 (which is UPS). Since I'm just up the coast from them I received the order next morning (and I notice they ship in the evening). So short transit time. Everything was great, packed well (I requested this), bags were a little cool, but snails and shrimp were healthy and are still doing great. Couple weeks later thought I'd try again and I ordered a few $5-$10 frags. Same shipping method. On this one I did order early in week and it shipped on a Thursday, so more of a lag with shipping time, but personally I don't have problem with shipping a little slow. It arrived next morning via UPS. Everything looked great, again well packed. Frags are doing well, dipped them and they opened up within a few hours. They are small but I'm looking forward to watching them grow, and they were only $5. One thing they did do that I wasn't pleased with, I was notified via email that their Australian Dendrophyllia (sp?) was in stock (one reason I went to site and place order), it allowed me to place the order and pay for it (no notes that is was out of stock). When I received the order there was note on the invoice that it was not available and I would have a store credit. I was not notified ahead of time it was out of stock. But what displeased me most is I did not have option of a refund, just store credit. I feel that since it was their stocking problem I should have had a refund option. It was only $10, and I'm happy with the credit, but if it had been a large amount of money I would have been upset. Will I order again, probably but I don't think I'd put too much money at risk with an order.

I can add to this. I purchased 8 corals from them during the 50% sale. They were purchased at the end of last week, Friday I believe. They were shipped out on Tuesday of this week. I paid for 2 day shipping. They got here last night. All corals were fine, except for one, which was a neon maze coral. I'm still not sure if it is dead or close to, but I'll give it a few days to be sure.

I saw videos of previous box openings from other reefers, and I noticed the frags/plugs were rolling around the bags. Not sure how anything survived that. So that left me a little nervous.

But once I got my box, and opened it all up for acclimation....I noticed they actually attach the frag plug to the staple of the bag with some heavy duty fishing line. So the frag is ALWAYS in water and not tumbling over itself. I was impressed with that. All in all, I'm happy. Hopefully the Maze isn't all for not. I'd reorder from them again.

In my shipment, I received:
3 heads of Blastomussa Merletti
10+ heads of Eye of Rah Zoa
2 heads of Australian Dendrophyllia
2 heads of Fruit Loops Zoa
1 Neon Maze
10+ heads of Radio Active Dragon Eye Zoa
3 heads of Red Candy Cane
