Anyone have experience with hyposalinity and anthias?

Hey guys,

I've got a thread going over in the disease treatment but I know a lot of people here have anthias. I need some experiences from anyone who has done hyposalinity treatment on anthias. I'm treating my 180 right now and I've lost 6 lyretail anthias and a bimac is looking bad. They werent even sick before starting treatment, the treatment was for a tang and butterfly. Before dying they bloat up and their scales puff out giving them a textured appearance. I am trying to figure out if this is just what anthias do in hypo (i.e. they cant handle it), or if something else is causing it (pH drop, etc).

So... has anyone treated anthias and can say either "yeah, that happened to me" or "no, I treated anthias with hypo and they were all fine"?

Thanks!

I treated 5 Lyretail Anthias with hypo a few years back and it was one of my most successful hypo cycles (none died).

I do hypo at 6 weeks, usually 2 months in QT total. I've always used hypo and used Cupramine for teh first time a few months ago with a group of Royal Grammas.
