Anyone have rotifers to sell?

sugartooth

Reef bully
I need rotifers fast, my seahorse had babies. I had a recent crash and I don't have a culture going yet.
Thanks!

sorry, no rotifers, hope you can get them soon
seahorse fry can go a few days without before the every 4 hr feed begin
which horse is is
I'm guessing ingen, reidi, or kuda due to your need for roti's

Thanks for the well wishes karenL. Yes, they are Reidi babies.
I heard 24 hours before I have to absolutely feed them....I guess better to be on the safer side!

By the way, does anyone know if I can successfully feed the frozen Rotifers?
I will try and get some after work as a last ditch effort, but rather pickup some live.

try the frozen till you can get the live, but it will most likely just foul the water.
I had some good starts with kuda that started at 6mm at birth.
i got some nice pics of them hitching at 2 weeks 2 days which I think is darn near on heard of
and I might have some pics of the set up if you're interested
haven't a clue how to post a pic here but could email you the pics

Thanks redvipe2010, I contacted him and I will be getting some tomorrow!
karenL- I would LOVE to see your pics....I'm worried about fouling the water as well....I guess I'll try since I have nothing else to offer them.

how are the H. reidi fry, day 4 tells the tale
I'll work on posting pics of the kuda fry tonight
have about 5 empty seahorse nurseries if you want to split a future batch
they should be kickin out abot 500-1500 fry every 14-18 days
feed the parents well for best fry results

I failed
my 1st pic attempt
this should be 1 day old H. kuda in green water and roti's, with a sprig of macro

Yikers KarenL! That's alotta fry I will have to be expecting. I'm not sure I can keep up with rotifer production then.

Well, so far I have 3-4 "floaters" I think from before I went over to mwp's to pickup the rotifers and Kreisl (ugh, my spelling)
They can't seem to get off the surface of the water. The rest are staying in the middle like they are supposed to...however I'm not yet equipped with the nursery and underwater lights, etc. so the nursery is in a grey bucket right now. I'm a little worried they won't be able to see their food without some sort of contrast.
I can't tell if they are eating either, I should be able to see them snick, but haven't been able to tell for sure....
I want to post pics, but I don't know where the camera is right now! Hahaa...I just moved a week and a half ago and still unpacking stuff. Actually, I think I unpacked it but put it away where I don't remember....

Also, thanks so much for your offer. I think that would be great, especially since you have the experience and I don't.
Where is Homewood near? Is that way South? I think we may be too far. I'm near Great America.

Oops, I forgot to mention about feeding adults.
I alternate Selcon and VitaChem soak PE mysis.
But how can I tell if they are experiencing malnutrition?
