Thanks for these pics. I am currently working on my 20L for work which will be a LPS dominated tank. I am planning ton T5 as well however I think I am going to go for 6x24

I now know I am on the right track. Thanks again!

6x24 watts is way too much light for a 20L... plus it wouldnt fit. Just run 4x24 to spec and use Ice Cap reflectors... dont take my word for it though... definitely check out the T5 thread here too... http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=939236

I can tell you that just visually the 4x24 watters are brighter than my 150 watt Phoenix that I ran previously... the T5's pack more PAR too. 4x24 watts is more than plenty for a 12" deep LPS tank.

how high off of the water are your T5's?

The actual lamps themselves are 3 1/2" above the water.
