Hello everyone,

Have a quick question. Found locally what looks like a good deal on aquarium, however have question about actual brand of aquarium. Has anyone ever heard of Yangzhou Five-Star Aquatics?

Google doesnt bring up much: China company, mass produced aquariums of various sizes. Domestic, Europe, Oceania markets primarily (according to their site at least)

I havent seen it yet, but here are few crappy pics

In the top right, there is a controller thingy. Apparently it is to control LEDs, so I am guessing there is a canopy with some LEDs on top.

Would there be anything specific, other than silicone seals and scratches, that I should look for? Would you trust this tank, or more specifically, would you trust tank made by some random company like this?
Size is ~125G (5 foot x 20 deep x 28 high) Seller was going to set it up for himself, but few life events forced him to rethink his plan.

Thanks for the help

id keep it in the garage

Thanks for the feedback.

Could you elaborate a bit on why you came to that concussion though? Honest question really, as part of me was thinking same thing as I was trying to research this company, and came up with very limited info.

Thanks again

Never heard of them, would also leave it in the garage. I don't like the sump design either. No room for a skimmer or a fuge

I dont trust china, could be a great quarantine and if youre unsure of original owner you can sleep better knowing its in the garage and wont leak inside your house. Looks like a great quarantine/frag tank

Thanks again everyone for the info and input. Much appreciated. I guess I was wrong in my next assumption, and that is that a lot of the tanks that we use are made in China regardless. I guess that isnt the case? I figured everything else is made there, so tanks most likely as well.

I wish I had enough space for QT/Frag tank, but living in townhouse only allows for 1 tank/stand combo unfortunately.
